THE ANTICIPATION
So we are quietly awaiting the transfer call to reach us. It should be getting to us here shortly so as of this point we have no clue if we will be staying together or not. This week was quite amazing. We have this family that wants to be baptized but the parents of the family aren't married. We went there on Thursday night and I gave a lesson about the 10 virgins and how them not being married is like them not having oil in their lamp. We marked a date of marriage with them and then baptism the day after that! The date is April 16 so I am pretty excited for me or whoever will be in this area on that date! We also had quite the bad expierence yesterday. There was this young lady at church that expressed desires to be baptized, so of course we marked to go to her house that day and teach and mark a baptism date with her. We get there and we discover that her older sister is the biggest snake I have ever seen in my entire life! Biggest because of size and because of how snakey she is. She was totally trying to get us to date her and everything and we pushed off those lousy attempts. She then had to go and get ready for work. Here in Brazil they have this custom to kiss people on the cheek when they are saying good bye. As missionaries we don't do that because of rules and such. She comes out and plants a big wet one on rGranges cheek as I try to take cover and she moves in close and plants a nasty wet one on my cheek as I was doing a face a lot like this one.... I was disgusted and left from that house afterwords spitting about every 2 steps because of my disgustedness. I never again will go into that house if that nasty lady is there ever again! This I promise!
Hope all is well back home and everyone had a good week!

So, this week was pretty awesome! Ive got only a short amount of time so I must make it quick. Yesterday I got to church without a voice because I have been sick for the last little while and I havenet been able to talk. It gets to be about 30 minutes before sacrememt meeting and the bishop comes up to me and asks if I would be able to give a 12 minute talk at last moment. I did it easily! I now know how to do public speaking! Yeah. Cool right! Transfers are next week so hopefully I get to stay here! We will see though!
I love you all!

Dearest family and friends,
What a good week that I had this last week! We had another baptism and found 2-5 more before the end of this month! The work here is going crazily awesome and I absolutely love this area! It’s very sad to think that on the twenty third of this month I could be leaving but hopefully I get to stay for at least a little longer.
Last week Elder Beck, the Young Men’s General President came to our mission to give a training and to talk with us. The day before the training, he spent the day with the Young Men of the stake I am currently in. The next day when the missionaries were in a meeting with him he talked about it a little bit. He said…”yesterday I had the chance to interview a young man named Bruno.” My heart began to beat like crazy because I was pretty sure that he was talking about the Bruno that I baptized. He then said…”who are the elders that baptized Bruno?” President Pickett from the back of the room yelled out, “Johnson and Grange!” President Beck then went on to talk about how special Bruno was and how he liked the interview so much that he filmed it with his camera and was preparing to show it to the Prophet and such next week in a meeting about the YM program. How cool is that? The Prophet and the leaders of the church will all see a young man that I baptized. He also may be put in one of the Liahonas or Ensigns in the near future! Yeah, I have to say, getting recognition from a general authority is pretty awesome! Especially when it is in-front of the entire mission!
I did get the package from the family this week and I have been having a lot of fun with recording some cool things on that recorder. It will probably make you laugh instead of cry, but laughing is way more fun!
Well I sure do love you all!
