Dearests,
Yet another week as come and passed. This last week marked a great point in my mission.. The 7 Month mark has come and gone and I am well on my way to the lucky 8!
Soccer last week was pretty fun. I have started a trend here in the mission. I am having all the Americans start talking up the USA soccer team for the world cup this next year! Even though there is not a lot of chance that we will win it is still good to stay true to the red white and blue. (I didn’t mean for that to rhyme.) Brasil and the USA play next Wednesday so it should be a good week of smack talk. We're starting a fast for the states on Sunday and that should help them I think.
This Saturday we will have 2 more baptisms! One of the girls is 8 and the other is 11! It should be pretty great! I am very excited!
The mission Rio de Janeiro North will end this month and then it is a race to see who will get the first baptism for the new mission!
Things are getting a bit chillie here in Brasil. I never imagined that I would ever say those words but it’s a little chilli. I haven’t seen my breath yet but I think we are getting there. Hope all is going good up there with your warm summer and all.

Parking ticket
Even though Jeff is out of country and has been for the last 7 months....he some how got a parking ticket at BYU! Too funny! It was really Russ who got the ticket, but BYU had Jeff's name attached to our license plate and the girl did not want to change the name on it....so Jeffrey Todd watch where you park! Hope we paid it soon enough that there isn't a warrant out there for you! ;D
